Olavo Chinaglia possesses extensive and robust experience in cartel processes, market dominance, and mergers and acquisitions covering various economic segments, also working with corporate and administrative litigation, as well as issues related to the development, improvement, and maintenance of corporate integrity and compliance programs and training.
Olavo has been featured for several years in a prominent position in major national and international legal directories, such as Chambers International, The Legal 500, Global Competition Review, Leader’s League, LACCA, and Advocacia 500. According to the renowned Who’s Who Legal, Olavo “is the first choice of many clients who appreciate his broad and valuable regulatory experience” (2018).
He was a member of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense – Cade, having temporarily held the Presidency of the body. During his terms, he represented Cade in the International Competition Network (ICN), as well as in the Competition Committee of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development – OECD.
With a Doctorate in Commercial Law from the University of São Paulo (2008), he graduated from the same institution in 1997 and has been working for more than two decades with Economic Law, focusing on antitrust.
He has delivered more than one hundred lectures at national and international events, symposiums, and meetings, and is a writer of scientific publications on topics of competition and corporate law.
